Syeda Shehla Raza
Syeda Shehla Raza is a very experienced, well known and famous Pakistani Politician from Karachi in the province of Sindh. She has been always very faithful to her political party which is Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). She is a very active, hardworking, and a strong member of the party who was very close to the chairperson Benazir Bhutto. She contributed a lot in party growth, like served time in jail, and took part in party protests and jalsas, that’s why she was elected twice as a Member of Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
Education and Political Career
She got her early education from city Karachi, Khairpur, and Hyderabad. She was graduated from Karachi University and earned her Master’s degree in Psychology. She lived most part of her life in the province of Sindh, especially in Karachi, Khairpur, and Hyderabad, and she started taking part in politics at a very early stage when she was attending her University. She was not from a strong political family background rather she was from a middle-class family in Karachi.
Shehla’s Marriage, Husband, and Children
Shehla Raza got married to former politician Ghulam Qadir in 1991, who was General Manager of a well known Pharmaceutical company at the time of marriage. From this marriage, they got a daughter in 1992 and their son was born in 1994. Unfortunately, they both were killed in a road accident in 2005, which was a big loss for the family.
