Ayesha Gulalai was considered as one of the brightest women politicians of Imran Khan-led PTI. However, in a shocking incident, she quit the party after leveling worst kind of allegations against Imran Khan. She said that the culture of the party is not conducive for any woman with an iota of self – esteem to continue working here. She further adds that Imran Khan used to send her messages with sexual contents. Other party leaders were also eyeing to sleep with her. The culture of PTI is different than that of PPP (her earlier party). The talent is not the main criteria here. Rather a woman needs to have a sexual relationship with top leaders and only then she can expect the party to let her fight.
In the hindsight, she has accepted that she allowed PTI leaders to sleep with her in 2012 when the party gave her ticket for National Assembly.
Ayesha said that at the time when PTI is getting thousands of members every day, she is quitting the party.
