DIYARBAKIR-AMED, Turkey’s Kurdish region,— Turkey’s pro Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Muş Co-Chair Elif Çetinbaş, who had been put on trial without arrest due to attending the press conference at Kobani of Syrian Kurdistan demonstrations in 2014, has been sentenced to nine years and 41 months of imprisonment.
The decision has been announced in the fifth hearing of the trial held today (December 29).
